New Delhi: The Director General of Russia’s Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities (ROSCOSMOS) Dmitry Rogozin held a detailed high-level meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval in New Delhi on Thursday on all aspects of India-Russia space cooperation.
Senior members of the space agencies of both countries, including ISRO chairman K Sivan and the director of the human spaceflight program were also present at the meeting.
According to reports, Russia has promised all assistance for India's human spaceflight mission Gaganyaan. Details regarding cooperation for the Gaganyaan mission were also discussed.
Both sides have also agreed to take a strategic approach to elevate bilateral cooperation to the next level keeping in mind the special and privileged partnership and India's priorities such as 'Make in India' programme.
Russia also stated that they would like to see India participate in the International Space Station, and offered its full support for the purpose.
