"We do not react to unverified media reports. We have not heard from the Pakistani side on this," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, in his weekly briefing.

Pakistani media on Wednesday claimed that an alleged 'Indian Spy' was arrested by local authorities from Rakhi Gaj in Dera Ghazi Khan city in Punjab province.

The man was identified as Raju Lakshman, according to ARY News.

Lakshman has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation, the Pakistani news outlet added.

On the question of Trump administration giving their nod to military sales to support Pakistan's F16 for 24×7 monitoring, MEA said that we have expressed our concerns with the US.

"We have taken up the matter with the US ambassador here in New Delhi, as well as the US government in Washington through our Ambassador there," said spokesperson Kumar.

He further stressed saying: "We have expressed grave concerns over military assistance to Pakistan. But, what we have been told by the US side is that; the proposed sale does not indicate any change in the US policy of maintaining a freeze in the military assistance given to Pakistan."
