M Venkaiah Naidu while concluding the Rajya Sabha session on September 23 mentioned that the session seated for 10 days, instead of 18 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 25 Bills have been passed and 6 Bills introduced, he added.
Appealing the members who are present and not present should not repeat any unpleasant behaviour in the house. There should be an order in the house. Members should ensure that the house should run smoothly, Naidu said.

When a Bill that assures wage security, social security and health security to 50 crore labourers has been brought, the Opposition is absent because they are distanced from the public, he added.

Rajya Sabha on Wednesday will take up four bills for consideration including the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2020 and The Bilateral Netting of Qualified Financial Contracts Bill, 2020 for consideration and passing.
Lok Sabha had on Monday passed The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2020. The Bilateral Netting of Qualified Financial Contracts Bill, 2020 was passed on Sunday from the Lower House.
The Upper House will also take up The Appropriation (No. 3) Bill, 2020 and The Appropriation (No 4) Bill, 2020 for consideration and return today.

While Shiv Sena MP Anil Desai has given zero hour notice over 'demand to reconsider disinvestment of Life Insurance Corporation of India'.
Zero Hour is the time when MPs can raise issues of urgent public importance.
