Jaipur: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education's (RBSE) class 10th and 12th supplementary examinations started on Thursday. Thousands of children appeared for the exam at different examination centres with COVID-19 precautions at the examination centres.
The students were asked to reach the examination centres one hour before so that their hands can be sanitized and to check their temperature before entering the centre.
Candidates appearing for the exam were seen standing in queues while abiding by the social distancing norm.
In the wake of Coronavirus scare, thermal scanning of students was also done at the examination centres. Students were allowed to bring their own water and sanitisers. The first exam started at 8:30 am for three and a half hours which ended 11:45 am.
The examination in-charge of Maharani School, Rahul Tank said that the examination centre of 858 children has been set up in the School. All the guidelines to contain COVID-19 have also been followed at the examination centre.
Rahul Tank said that centres have been made according to the subjects as someday more children will come and someday less. This supplementary exam will be over on September 11which will be completed in two sittings. The first sitting started at 8:30 am and the second sitting started at 1.45 am. There are 93700 students in class 10th examination, 35500 students in class 12th, 734 are for entrance and 214 for Senior Upadhyaya.
