Sikar: A pregnant woman allegedly killed her husband by hitting him with an axe over suspicion of him having an extra-marital affair with his sister-in-law in Rajasthan's Sikar district.

Saroj, who is nine months pregnant, allegedly killed and buried her husband Mahavir Balai's body in the backyard of their house on Monday.
A day later, she went to the local police station and confessed to the crime, following which the police exhumed Balai's body for post-mortem.

Once the post-mortem was done, the body was handed over to the family.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Saroj and an investigation is underway.
