Hyderabad(Telangana):Railways MOS Suresh Angadi has criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for indulging in politics over migrant workers.
In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Angadi said,"Mamata didi should not do politics over migrant labourers and she should accept all the workers in Bengal in a dignified manner. Labourers relocate themselves to other states in search of better jobs. During this crisis, state government should extend all the possible help to the labourers".
Asked about Banerjee not giving permission for 105 'Special Shramik trains', Angadi added,"Mamata didi is ready to accept migrants from Bangladesh but not from India which is really disappointing. I request Mamata Banerjee to pay the ticket fare for all the migrant workers who are returning to Bengal. Railway Ministry will provide more Shramik trains to transport migrants back to their native land".
It is to be noted that Centre alleged that Mamata Banerjee was not giving permission for 105 'Shramik trains' to enter the state. After this,Railway Minister Piyush Goyal appealed to Mamata Banerjee to grant permission for 105 trains everyday instead of allowing trains to run over 30 days. He stated that Shramik trains will be deployed to send back all the migrant labourers back to their homes.
Earlier too, Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Mamata Banerjee of not allowing migrants to enter Bengal.
