New Delhi: Congress organised Bharat Bachao rally in Delhi at Ramlila Maidan in which Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu were not present.
Talking exclusively to ETV Bharat, Punjab Congress Incharge Asha Kumari said that captain Amrinder could not come due to bad weather and Navjot Singh Sidhu is MLA and she has no idea where MLAs were sitting.
Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar was there in the rally and so was Ambika Soni, she added.
Responding to the speculation of Deputy Chief Minister's appointment in Punjab Asha Kumari said that no such discussion is going right now.
Later, she also denied the fact that certain MLAs in Punjab are not happy with its own government.
Reacting to remarks of Smriti Irani she said that it's Smriti Irani who is trying to politicize rapes in India, not Rahul Gandhi.
When Irani was in opposition she questioned in a tweet that for Congress FDI is important and not rapes, but why not she ever questioned its own government which has rape accused as ministers and member parliament, Asha Kumari added.
