Karnataka: Bengaluru police have registered a case after posters that read 'Sonkitha Sarkaara' meaning Infected Government surfaced in the state capital's Bus stand on Monday. Policemen have launched a manhunt for the miscreants for allegedly putting up the posters showing Yediyurappa government in a bad light.
The posters which are written in Kannada, reads, "The government came to power for money, 'the infected government'. These posters were found on the walls near Mekri Circle, Palace Road, TV Tower Road, Shankar Math and Kamakshipalya road.
Initial investigations revealed that the name of the legislator was tampered and was attributed to the state government. The Police Commissioner Kamal Pant has formed a special team to find out who was responsible for writing and hanging them. Pant has ordered his team to scan the CCTV footages of the past few days to take strict action against the culprits.
"Strict instructions have been given to all the divisional police stations to take strict action against those found guilty," said Pant.
The concerned authorities are acting swiftly against attempts to malign the state government and punish the accused.
