Patna: Police on Saturday lathicharged RLSP workers during a public march at Dakbangla Chauraha in Patna. RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The march was aimed at improving education system in the state.

After the clashes between two independent groups during the march, police was pressed into action.
Reacting to the incident, Kushwaha stated that the party would hand over a memorandum to the state Governor.
"The education system in Bihar is in pathetic condition. To improve this, the government will have to immediately accept their all demands," Kushwaha said.
"The party has been raising voice over the issue for the past two years. It will continue further," he added.
