India-U.S. trade relations have grown exponentially in 2018-19. India exported nearly 52.4% products to the U.S. And imported nearly 35.5% goods from the U.S.
Currently, tensions in the middle east have turned the world's attention towards it. With Iran vowing to take revenge of Soleimani's death, U.S. President has already warned Tehran of consequences.
For India, things might get bad further if tensions escalate in the gulf region. India will have to evacuate nearly 8 million Indians living in the region. Fuel prices have already skyrocketed since Soleimani's killing on Friday. Energy security being a challenge for India, it has to stock up major reserves for its own consumption. India imports 84% of its energy requirements from across the world.
