Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address 12 rallies in Bihar ahead of the assembly elections, where he will be accompanied by JD(U) supremo Nitish Kumar and senior BJP leaders like JP Nadda and Amit Shah.

With BJP to focus on Modi's achievements to woo voters, Congress feels that the rallies of Modi will fail to create any magic in poll-bound Bihar.

Veteran Congress leader Tariq Anwar, in an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, said, "Even in 2015, BJP and its entire team had put in their best efforts to come to power in Bihar. But, everybody saw the results. Modi's 12 rallies will not benefit NDA in the elections but rather harm the party."

Criticising PM Modi government for its failure, the former Union Minister, said, "What has Modi done for Bihar in the span of six years? The public has realised this and BJP is not going to get any vote. Everybody is tired of Nitish Kumar and now after 15 years, people are looking for a change."

Talking about Congress's plan for Bihar elections, multiple-time Kathihar MP said, "Our star campaigners will be Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. While Rahul and Priyanka will participate in physical rallies, Sonia Ji will hold virtual rallies. In 2018, when Rahul Gandhi did a full-fledged campaign, Congress was voted to power in three states."
