New Delhi: Actress Payal Ghosh met Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday to "inform" about the sluggishness of the investigation of her complaint against film director Anurag Kashyap. Currently, the case is investigated by the Mumbai police on the basis of the plaint she filed.
"I am meeting the Minister to inform him about the case. Even though the case is being investigated by Mumbai police, Anurag Kashyap is roaming free," said Ghosh. Ghosh has accused Gangs of Wasseypur director, Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct.
"I think that investigation of the case against Anurag Kashyap is proceeding slowly. If necessary, I will request for Central government's intervention in the case," said Ghosh.
Earlier this day, Ghosh also sought assistance from Rekha Sharma, chairperson of National Commission for Women (NCW). Many film actors have extended their support to her.
