Parents donate 9-yr-old dead son's organ to save lives of 2 patients

The eyes of Gautham who died of a heart attack were donated to two blind children.

Hubli (Karnataka): The parents of a 9-year-old boy who died of a heart attack in Hubli, have donated his eyes to KIMS Hospital and became the part of enlightening the life of other two children.

Gautham son of Maruthi Bellary from Hubli was a handicap by birth and after his death, the parents decided to donate their child's eyes to two blind children.

"We felt that our child died due to our sin so we decided to do something good for others so that our child get salvation," Maruthi Bellary said.

The doctor in the hospital said that it was a natural death, and the boy succumbed to a massive heart attack. Gautham, the 9-year-old boy has become one of the youngest organ donors.
