New Delhi: Terming Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) a "lie truss", the BJP on Saturday said he has "misused" the international platform.

"Pakistan Prime Minister lied about Kashmir saying that people there were being harassed and mistreated," party spokesperson Zafar Islam told ETV Bharat here.

He said Khan wanted Kashmir to become an international issue at the UNGA but Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not allow it to happen. Islam said Pakistan has been lying on the issue for a long time and India has rightly condemned it.

"The world cannot be misled on the issue anymore. Statements by Pakistan cannot harm India at the world stage," he added.

Body: सफर इस्लाम ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान ने वहां पर यह बात कही कि कश्मीर में अल्पसंख्यकों के साथ अत्याचार हो रहा है जबकि अगर देखा जाए तो अल्पसंख्यकों के साथ सबसे ज्यादा अत्याचार पाकिस्तान में हो रहा है जहां 23% अल्पसंख्यक से मात्र 3% अल्पसंख्यक कि अब रह गए हैं जफर इस्लाम ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान ने हर कोशिश की है के कश्मीर को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्दा बनाया जाए और उस पर राजनीति की जाए मगर भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय पर नहीं बनने दिया है प्रधानमंत्री ने वहां किसी भी मंच से कश्मीर का नाम नहीं लिया

Conclusion: भाजपा ने कहा कि कश्मीर के मुद्दे पर पाकिस्तान हमेशा से झूठ बोलता रहा है और अब उनके मंच का भी पाकिस्तान दुरुपयोग कर रहा है उन्होंने पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री ने यूएन के मंच से भारत पर जो भी आरोप लगाए वह तमाम बातें गलत है और भारत ने इसका खंडन किया है उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे प्रधानमंत्री ने भारत के पक्ष को मजबूती से रखा है और अब पाकिस्तान की बयानबाजी पर दुनिया गुमराह होने वाली नहीं है
