New Delhi: Pakistan on Sunday accused India of violating international law by using cluster bomb along the line of control on Sunday.
On Sunday, Pakistan PM Imran Khan in his tweet said, "I condemn India's attack across LoC on innocent civilians and its use of cluster munitions in violation of international humanitarian law and its own commitments and the 1983 convention on certain conventional weapons. UNSC must take note of this International threat to peace and security."
Khan further went on to write, "It's time to end the long night of suffering for the people of occupied Kashmir. They must be allowed to exercise their right to self-determination according to UNSC resolutions. The only road to peace and security in South Asia runs through a peaceful and just settlement of Kashmir."
On its part, Indian Army has refused Pakistan's charges of using cluster bombs, "Pakistan instead of taking is reversible and credible actions against their activities emanating from its soil is still a deliberately resorting to a malicious campaign of use of cluster ammunition by Indian Army."
