New Delhi: Terming the on-going political turmoil in Rajasthan as an "internal matter of the Congress", the BJP has said that the grand old party has got divided into two parts - one wherein its leaders are with the party and the second where leaders are with the Nehru-Gandhi family.

BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told the ETV Bharat here that his party is just "monitoring the situation from outside". He attacked the Congress leaders who accused the BJP of destabilizing the Congress government in Rajasthan, saying in Congress, leaders who could be a political threat to Rahul Gandhi are sidelined on the behest of its central leadership.

"Sachin Pilot was sidelined after the state assembly elections, hence the uprising in the state unit of the party," he said, adding that the political crisis in Rajasthan is a result of their ( Congress' leaders) policies towards their own leaders and workers.

Meanwhile, in Jaipur the Congress said that its doors remain open for Sachin Pilot, the rebel leader who claimed that he has the support of over 30 party MLAs in the state's 200-member assembly.

The Congress said 109 MLAs have already expressed support for Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, rejecting the claim by Deputy Chief Minister and the party's state unit president Sachin Pilot that the senior leader does not have the majority.

About 100 MLAs had walked into the chief minister's residence by 12.30 pm, an hour before the meeting actually started.

But some MLAs considered close to Pilot had not arrived till then. These included G R Khatana, Harish Meena, Ramesh Meena, Vishvendra Singh, Ved Prakash, Mukesh Bhakar and Ramnivas Gawriya
