One new coronavirus+ case detected in Punjab, toll reaches 132

Punjab reported one new COVID-19 case on Friday morning from Sangrur district, taking the total number of cases recorded from the state to 132, with 12 deaths reported so far.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases thus rose to 132, with 12 deaths reported so far from the state.

This is the second COVID-19 positive case to be reported from the district over the past two days.

India has reported 6,771 COVID-19 cases and 228 people have died from the disease so far, according to data compiled by Worldometer.
