Hyderabad: Ever since the coronavirus-induced lockdown, migrants stuck in other states are facing problems across pan India.
Incidentally, around 40 migrants from Odisha, who came to Hyderabad in the hope of decent earnings, decided to return to their hometowns.
They booked a travel agency bus and waited near the idol of Mother Teresa in Secunderabad.
After waiting for several hours when their bus didn't turn up, they approached Gopalapuram police and told them their plight.
Gopalapuram police assured the migrants and promised to arrange transportation for them.
Thousands of migrants in India have been traveling on foot in desperation to return to their villages. Several have even lost their lives in road accidents while marching back home.
