She lifted 122 kg to break her previous record and turned out to be squat record breaker.
Talking to ETV Bharat after returning to her hometown she said, "All credits goes to my parents.”
"I usually practice 5-6 hours a day and do it for six days in a week. I have been doing the same for 20 long years.”
Over the years, Ranjita has won many national and international gold medals. “I want to represent India in the international meets and win accolades for the nation,” she said.
Soon Ranjita will be gearing to take part in the Commonwealth Games to be held in Canada and hopes to win a gold.
