New Delhi: Two more suspected terrorists have been detained by the anti-terror National Investigation Agency in connection with the Abdul Rahman case, an ophthalmologist who was arrested on August 17 by the NIA for having alleged links to ISIS operatives.
Sources revealed that the suspects are Abdul Rahman's friend, while one has studied medicine the other is an engineer by profession. The duo are suspected to be in contact with ISIS. Reportedly, they provided medical and technical help to the terror gang.
The accused had created a WhatsApp group in which a lot of ISIS activities were discussed, however, their mobile phones have been confiscated, sources said.

A resident of Basavangudi in Bengaluru, Rahman was arrested in connection with the agency’s probe against a Kashmiri couple - Jahanzaib Sami Wani and Hina Bashir Beigh, arrested from Jamia Nagar in Delhi in March 2020.
Earlier, the National Investigation Agency had elaborated that when the ISIS militants were wounded in combat with the US Army, Rahman gave a medical help to them.
