Gumla: A Naxalite - Kriyavid Raju Badaik, was arrested during a search operation in Jharkhand's Gumla district and was taken into custody near Pugu village on Monday night.
The Superintendent of Police (SP), Anjani Kumar Jha, said that Badaik, who is in his late 20s, is facing charges in several cases lodged with the Bishunpur police station in the district.
He is a member of the banned Jharkhand Janmukti Morcha Parishad (JJMP) and had been evading arrest since 2015.
