Kolkata: Former India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name has popped up on a merit list for an undergraduate course at a college in West Bengal on Thursday.
According to college sources, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name has been registered in the OBC quota.
Debashis Saha, the principal of the college, said, "The real information will come out at the time of admission. The matter will be investigated."
Earlier, Bollywood actor Sunny Leone's name appeared on the merit list at a Kolkata college many times.

The actor's name featured in the third place in the list for English honours in Barasat Government College. Her name was preceded by that of US pornstar Dani Daniels and webcam model from Lebanon, Mia Khalifa.
Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar's name also topped the merit list of a college in West Bengal's Malda district on August 28.
The authorities of Manikchak College in Malda district said that they spotted the playback singer's name after the first merit list was published and already brought out a fresh one correcting the anomaly.
