Alwar: Rajasthan police on Sunday launched an investigation after a mutilated body of an 11-year-old child was recovered in Alwar under Malakhera police limits. The victim's nose, ears and nails were reportedly chopped off and the body and the family members have alleged practice of occult science behind the crime.

Police suspect that this is a case of murder and body was found in a mustard field. According to reports, the body also has signs of cut marks and injuries.

Victim's father told ETV Bharat, "My son was missing from the past two days. We searched throughout but could not found him. The members of my family 'sacrificed' my son for occult practices."
