New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who had earlier claimed of winning all seven seats in Delhi, said in an interview that Muslim votes shifted to the Congress party at the last moment before polling and this shift will hurt the party.
Reacting to Kejriwal’s statement, veteran Congress leader and former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit said every citizen has the right to vote for any party, she even added that the people of the capital city did not understand nor liked his governance model.
In an interview given to a newspaper, Kejriwal said "48 hours before polling, it seemed that the Aam Aadmi Party would win all the 7 seats, but at the last moment Muslim voters shifted to the Congress party. We are still trying to figure out what actually happened."
