Bagalkot (Karnataka): A 70-year-old mother of a coronavirus infected man died on Saturday evening of a heart attack in Jamakhandi taluk of Bagalkot district in Karnataka, police said.
The Jamakhandi Taluk doctors said in a statement that the elderly woman was showing no signs of COVID-19.
It is being speculated that the mother had a heart attack after she came to know that her son was suffering from Coronavirus.
The funeral will be completed according to the District COVID-19 protocol, police said.
