New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl lodged at a quarantine centre in South Delhi was allegedly raped by an inmate at the facility.
The incident took place at the COVID-19 care facility belonging to South Delhi on Wednesday and the accused was also COVID positive and was also lodged at the COVID facility.
Additional DCP Parvinder Singh of South Delhi said that the matter it is being investigated and the accused will be nabbed once his reported Cornavirus negative.
According to Arun Gupta, ADM, South Delhi, after the incident the victim was shifted to a COVID-19 facility centre of a hospital which comes under the Central Government. The accused has not been arrested as his report has not yet reported Corona negative. Action will be taken against him after the report comes negative.
