Marriage solemnized despite flood in Bihar

People in Sakra block of Muzaffarpur district have solemnized a marriage despite a number of difficulties created by flood in the area. The bridegroom and others in the marriage procession had to wade through the flood water to reach the bride's place.

Muzaffarpur: A marriage was solemnized despite flood in Sakra where hundreds of people, including the bridegroom, had to leave their vehicles and move on their feet to reach the venue.

Since the marriage was already fixed, the family of the bridegroom was informed that the village of the bride was flooded and the ceremony should be rescheduled but it could be done with some people insisting to go ahead with the original date of the marriage.
