Etah (Uttar Pradesh): A man was shot and critically injured on Monday in a clash with his neighbour over former's pet dog, says police. The victim has been identified as Rajesh Mishra who was later rushed to a medical facility in Agra.
According to reports, Rajesh had taken out his dog for a walk in the village when his neighbour Deepak Mishra said that the black pet looked dirty.
In a fit of rage, Deepak allegedly attacked Rajesh and shot him with his gun.
''Both parties opened fire. Two police teams have been set up to arrest the accused, who is absconding. Four persons have been named as accused by Rajesh's family," said, Assistant Superintendent of Police OP Singh.
