ETV Bharat reached the violence affected Jafrabad and interacted with the people there who vehemently criticised the ongoing communal frenzy in the city.

Mohammad Furkan, a resident of Jafrabad while speaking to ETV Bharat said, "We never wanted the violence to erupt, it is unfortunate that such heinous activities are being carried on for the past three days. "

He also blamed BJP leader Kapil Mishra who made an inflammatory speech in his rally against CAA protests on Sunday.

"A stage is being set in Jafrabad. Another area where the country's laws will not be followed. PM Modi had rightly said that Shaheen Bagh was an experiment. Roads, markets, streets all will be blocked one by one. Keep quiet till they do not knock on your doors," Kapil Mishra said.

Soon after his inflammatory speech, violence erupted in parts of northeast Delhi, leading to the death of several civilians and a police constable.

Spreading the message of peace, Sunil said that people belonging to both the communities live together in harmony, the politicians are responsible for the violence.
