Ayodhya: Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Organisation president Raja Rajendra Singh slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Ram Janambhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust extended an invite to the latter to attend the foundation laying ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Singh, who earlier called himself as a descendant of Lord Rama, said, "PM Modi is like Aurangzeb. Modi is treating the Kshatriya community in the same way just as Aurangzeb did.
"Who is BJP to claim that they have formed the Temple Trust?," he asked, adding that, no Kshatriya community member's name has been included in the Trust.
Highlighting the Kshatriya should be given a respectable position in the Trust, Singh claimed that Ram Janambhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust has 50% reservation for Kshatriya community and 10% for women.
"But BJP has claimed its rights on it and our community has been sidelined," Singh said.
"Ram Janam Bhoomi is not an original piece of land. Veteran leaders like Raja Harish Chandra and Bhagirath are also associated with this place. Why is BJP claiming rights on Ram Janam Bhoomi? It is the Kshatriya community that proved the existence of Lord Rama," he asked.

Challenging PM Modi, Rajendra Singh said that government should uplift lockdown and allow us to perform pooja.
"The government should ease lockdown and allow the Kshatriya community to perform prayers. After that, he can perform Bhoomi Poojan," he said.
NCP chief Sarad Pawar also launched a verbal attack on PM Modi on Ram Mandir construction and said, "Some people think that coronavirus would be eradicated by building a temple."
Opposition party CPI(M) leader D Raja also castigated Modi saying that today our country is fighting with pandemic and we also need a peaceful solution to settle the border dispute with China. But our Prime Minister is going to Ayodhya for the foundation laying ceremony of Ram Temple.
PM Modi will attend the foundation ceremony on August 5 and this will be his first visit to Ayodhya since he became the Prime Minister. The Ram Janambhoomi Trust had proposed two dates for 'Bhoomi poojan' ceremony to PM Modi i.e 3rd and 5 August.
