New Delhi: The Aam Admi Party on Wednesday announced that it will contest the assembly election from all 70 seats in Uttarakhand.
AAP’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that they have conducted a survey in Uttarakhand, and 62% of respondents said we should contest election in the state.
"Unemployment, education, and health problems will be our main issues in this election," Kejriwal said.
The chief minister also said that people in Uttarakhand have lost expectations from the BJP and the Congress.
Uttarakhand is slated to go to polls in February 2022. The Legislative Assembly has 70 seats. Currently, the BJP is the ruling party and the Congress is in the opposition.
Soon after the Delhi polls the Aam Aadmi Party made Dinesh Mohania in charge of Uttarakhand and gave him the responsibility of organisation building.
