New Delhi: Janata Dal (United)'s Member of Parliament from Sitamarhi in Bihar and senior leader Sunil Kumar Pintu said that people in Bihar are hopeful of the Parliament Budget Session to be held tomorrow.

He raised the demand that Bihar should get special allocation in the Budget so that the stalled development works would progress in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Bihar has demonstrated strength by handling the Covid pandemic and the Central Government should aid the state's rapid progress, he added.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the General Budget of the upcoming financial year 2021-22 in Parliament on Monday. The first part of the Budget Session of Parliament is likely to end on February 13.
