New Delhi: Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan said on Monday that the rape accused should be lynched while speaking on the issue of the gang rape and murder of the Hyderabad veterinarian in Rajya Sabha.
"I know it's a little harsh, but I think this kind of people need to be brought out in public and lynched," Bachchan suggested.
The 27-year-old Hyderabad veterinarian was allegedly raped and later killed by four men who burnt the body at Outer Ring Road (ORR) underpass near Chatanpally village on Thursday.
Police have managed to nab the four accused, based on the complaint by the family members and inspecting the CCTV footage in the area.

The accused trapped her near the Shamshabad toll plaza on Wednesday evening, where she had parked her scooter, said police.
Police further said that the accused had offered to help her fix the punctured tyres of her vehicle and then committed the heinous crime.
By showing her extreme regret, Bachchan said, “I think the people now want the government to give a proper answer and a very definite answer. What has happened? How they have tackled it and how far justice has been done to these people?”
