New Delhi: Soon after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) informed the Parliament that 'no infiltration' has been reported along Line of Actual Control (LoC), Congress party slammed the Center for giving a 'clean chit' to China. The opposition attacked the Centre's move and called the statement as an 'insult' to the martyrdom of Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in Galwan Valley standoff.

Earlier today, former President of Congress and MP, Rahul Gandhi also took a jibe at Central Government by tweeting, "Understand the chronology, the first PM said that no one got into our territory, then took a huge loan from China-based bank, then Defence Minister said that China has encroached our territory and now MoS Home is denying any encroachment. Is Modi Government with the Indian Army or with China? Why so much of fear?"

Pawan Khera, party's national spokesperson said, "Two shocking revelations in the last 24 hours, exposed the lies, doublespeak, hoodwinking hypocrisy and the diabolism of Modi government when it comes to border issue with China."

On Wednesday, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai had given a written reply to an unstarred question, in which he categorically denied any infiltration by China in the last 6 months."By saying so, is the government blaming the Indian Army of trespassing into the enemy territory? Isn't this just another clean chit to China? Isn't it an opportunity given by our government to China so that they can now claim to tell the world that they are not the aggressor but India is?" asked Pawan Khera.

In a series of questions addressed to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, he said, "Can we able to petrol the same areas as we were able to do so before April 2020? What is the pressure under which Prime Minister gives clean chit to China, Ministry of Defence remove the document that acknowledges Chinese transgression in Eastern Ladakh on August 7?"Is the entire Government now trying to justify that one big lie of Prime Minister of June 19? What did Raksha Mantri mean when he said that the talks with China might not be fruitful?" he further asked.

On Tuesday, Center also informed the Parliament that India has taken two loans, amounting Rs 9,202 crores from a Beijing based multilateral development bank. Congress noted that the first loan of 500 million dollars was taken on May 8, amidst reports of Chinese incursions at multiple points in Eastern Ladakh, while the second loan of 750 million dollars was taken on June 19, four days after a standoff between Indian and Chinese troops took place at Galwan Valley. "Incidentally, it was the same day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi lied to the country by saying that no one has entered into our territory," mentioned the Pawan Khera.

He also cited External Affairs Minister statement, where he stated that "there cannot be business as usual in face of Chinese attempts to unilaterally changing the facts on the ground along the border"."The nation is shocked at such brazen duplicity of the Modi government in handling China's territorial aggression. A clear message should go across the world that India and its government stamp with Indian Army and will not legitimate China's claims over our territory," demanded the Congress leader.
