COVID-19 India tracker: State-wise report

India witnessed a single-day spike of 52,509 COVID-19 cases as the total cases in the country reached 19,08,254, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 857 COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

Hyderabad: India's COVID-19 tally increased to 19,08,254 with 52,509 people testing positive for coronavirus infection in a day, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

State-wise report

The death toll due to COVID-19 climbed to 39,795 with 857 fresh fatalities being reported in 24-hours on Wednesday.

A total of 12,82,215 people have recovered, while there are 5,86,244 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country presently.

The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients has risen to 67.19 per cent, while the fatality rate has further dropped to 2.09 pc, the data stated.
