14 deaths, 1,815 fresh coronavirus cases in Rajasthan
          

Fourteen more people died from coronavirus in Rajasthan on Friday and as 1,815 fresh cases took the state's infection count to 1,82,570. So far, 1,814 people have died from the infection in Rajasthan, according to an official report. 
          

Two fatalities were reported from Jaipur and Jodhpur while Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Ganganagar, Jalore, Kota, Nagaur, Sikar and Udaipur reported one death each. 
          

Of the 1,815 fresh cases, 339 were reported from Jaipur followed by 296 in Jodhpur, the report said. Other cases were reported from Bikaner (217); Alwar (112); Ganganagar (93); Sikar (88); Ajmer (76); Bharatpur (71); Udaipur (59); Kota (54); Nagaur (48); Pali (46); Jhunjhunu (39); Jalore (35); Churu (33); Barmer (29); Bhilwara (27); Hanumangarh (24); Pratapgarh (16); Dungarpur (15); Jaisalmer (15); Dausa (12); Bundi (11); Chittorgarh (10); Rajsamand (10); Dholpur (7); Jhalawar (7); Sirohi (5); Banswara (3) and Karauli (2).
 

A total of 1,62,981 coronavirus patients have recovered so far and the number of active cases at present is 17,775, the report said.

Kerala's active cases nearing one lakh mark; Toll mounts to 1,281
 

Active COVID-19 cases in Kerala inched toward the one lakh mark as the daily positive count continued to soar with 8,511 fresh cases on Friday while the toll rose to 1,281 with the addition of 26 deaths. As many as 95,657 people were presently undergoing treatment for the infection while the total infection count
stood at 3,64,895, the government said.
 

The fresh cases were detected after testing 64,789 samples and included 82 health workers, Health Minister K K Shailaja said.

140 new COVID-19 cases in Nagaland; tally rises to 8,436
       

The COVID-19 tally of Nagaland rose to 8,436 as 140 more people tested positive for the virus on Friday, a health department official said. The state now has 1,837 active COVID-19 cases, the official said.
         

"140 positive cases of COVID-19 detected today Dimapur 118, Kohima 16, Mokokchung and Zunheboto two each, Wokha and Tuensang one each," said Minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
         

"Also, 101 patients have recovered Kohima 52, Dimapur 46, Longleng 3," he said.
         

Of the total 8,436 COVID-19 cases, 1,837 are active cases, while 6,500 have recovered from the disease, said Additional Director of Health Department, Dr Denis Hangsing in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.

Gujarat recorded 1,112 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the count to 1,65,233, the health department said on Friday evening. The death toll in the state reached 3,676 with six more patients succumbing, it added.
         

On the other hand, 1,264 patients recovered during this period. Gujarat's coronavirus figures are as follows: Positive cases 1,65,233, New cases 1,112, Deaths 3,676, Discharged 1,47,572, Active cases 13,985 and people tested so far 56,38,392.

Maharashtra reports 7,347 new coronavirus cases, taking case count to 16,32,544; while death toll reaches 43,015 with 184 fatalities: health official. The COVID-19 caseload in Nagpur increased by 465 on Friday to reach 93,055, while 13 deaths took the toll to 3,027, an official said.
         

He said 84,316 people have been discharged so far, including 683 during the day, leaving the district with 5,712 active cases.

Meghalaya reports 81 new COVID-19 cases, one death
        

At least 81 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya on Friday, pushing the coronavirus tally to 8,801, a senior health official said. The total number of COVID-19 active cases in the state has now risen to 1,631, Health Services director Aman War said.

East Khasi Hills district, of which state capital Shillong is a part, reported 51 new cases and has 1,046 of the total active cases, he said.
