New Delhi: Findings of the survey undertaken by app distribution platform MoMagic reveals that most of the films will be released on OTT platforms. This is because as the lockdown led to the shutting of film shoots. Indians are also making a choice by staying indoors and enjoying the movies on the OTT platforms.
"About 71 percent of respondents find ticket price a factor to watch a movie in a theatre, followed by 27 percent who said the price does not matter," said Arun Gupta, CEO, and founder, MoMAGIC Technologies.
Also, "72 percent of the consumers said they would invest in buying a large-screen TV and home theatre to watch their favorite flicks at home rather than a movie hall," Gupta added.
