New Delhi: The Indian Army is always on its duty. The security of the country and countrymen is the first priority of the Indian Army.
The reputation of the army got cemented yet again as two Indian Army doctors helped a pregnant woman deliver a baby onboard Howrah Express. The pregnant woman went into premature labour as Howrah Express was on the move.
When the woman started going into the labour on the running train, everyone's breath stopped as how the delivery would take place, but then the army doctors Captain Lalitha and Captain Amandeep arrived as 'angels' and helped the woman deliver the baby.
Both mother and child are hale and hearty.
Captain Lalitha and Captain Amandeep are posted in 172 Army Hospital and they were travelling in Howrah Express. As soon as the news of the woman going into labour pain reached the two, they immediately came forward to help the woman in labour and the baby was delivered safely with the help of other railway staff.
The army has praised Captain Lalitha and Captain Amandeep. The army has also shared the picture of the newborn, who was born in the Howrah Express. It is also written that 'Nation First, We Care'. A salute for both our captains.
