India strongly condemns dastardly terrorist attack at Kabul varsity

India on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kabul university. In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said, "India strongly condemns the dastardly terrorist attack at Kabul University. India stands in solidarity with those who have lost their sons and daughters in this heinous act."

New Delhi: India on Tuesday strongly condemned the dastardly terrorist attack at Kabul University which left at least 22 dead and 22 wounded.

In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said, "India strongly condemns the dastardly terrorist attack at Kabul University. India stands in solidarity with those who have lost their sons and daughters in this heinous act."

"Education is one of the most important gains of the last 19 years in Afghanistan and must be preserved. India salutes the aspirations of Afghan youth in their quest for knowledge, education and peace," the statement read.

"This inhuman act is a stark reminder that terrorism, in all its forms, must be eliminated for durable peace in Afghanistan and the region," the statement further read.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the terrorist attack on Kabul University. He said that India will continue to support Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism.
