1, Disgruntled BJP MLAs to meet in Bengaluru
A few ruling BJP legislators, who missed ministerial berths in the recent cabinet expansion in Karnataka, would meet today to chalk out their strategy, including meeting senior party leaders, including in New Delhi, party legislator M P Renukacharya said. Spearheading the campaign to convey the discomfort among the MLAs to the party high command, the Honnali MLA on Monday said the meeting will be within the democratic framework of right to expression in the party.

2, SC-appointed panel on farm laws to hold first meeting today
The Supreme Court-appointed committee on the three new farm laws is scheduled to hold its first meeting with members today at Pusa campus here, its member Anil Ghanwat said. The Supreme Court had on January 11 stayed the implementation of the three laws, against which farmers are protesting at Delhi borders for over 50 days now, till further orders and appointed a four-member panel to resolve the impasse.

3, Maharashtra vaccine drive to resume today at 258 centres

Maharashtra will resume the Covid-19 vaccination drive at 285 centres in the state today, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray informed on Monday. The announcement was made after the CM reviewed the preparations for the drive at a meeting. The vaccination will take place four days a week starting Tuesday (January 19).
