J.P Nadda to address two rallies in Bihar today

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda who is on a two-day visit to Bihar will address election rallies in Bettiah and Motihari at 12.50 and 3 pm respectively.

Earlier, the BJP president held a meeting of leaders of the ruling National Democratic Alliance at a hotel in Arrah and was attended by district heads, MPs, district in-charges, assembly constituency in-charges, assembly conveners and the candidates besides other important leaders from the region.

After a long wait, the authorities of Kaziranga National Park are gearing up for re-opening the sanctuary in Assam today.

National park authorities had tried to open the park to tourists on October 5, although this was not possible due to the catastrophic floods this year.

Amidst the protocol of COVID-19 pandemic, the National Park Authority has taken precautionary measures to reopen the National Park. The number of tourists visiting Kaziranga National Park has been declining since mid-February this year. And was completely shut down by mid-March.

After a gap of almost 7 months, Kalka-Shimla Express is set to ply on the heritage railway track from today.

All precautionary measures will be taken for the safety of passengers amid COVID-19.

Shimla railway station superintendent Prince Sethi said amid COVID-19 pandemic all the SOPs and guidelines issued by the government will be followed.
