1 Haryana farmers to hold protests, block roads today
To oppose recent agriculture ordinances passed by Union Cabinet Haryana’s farmers have announced to block all roads, including highways, across the state today.
The farmers have decided to block roads for three hours and hold demonstrations across the state.
Bharatiya Kisan Union Haryana (Charuni) president Gurnam Gurnam Singh Charuni said, “A statewide chakka jam (roadblock protest) will be held from 12 pm to 3 pm on September 20 in Haryana and if the demands are not accepted a countrywide protest will be staged on September 25.
2 Seventh-day of parliament session to be held today
The seventh day of parliament's monsoon session will be held today.
The monsoon session of the Parliament commenced from September 14 and conclude on October 1.
The whole session is being held by observing precautions related to COVID-19.
