1. Modi to interact with IPS probationers today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with IPS probationers through a video conference today during the Dikshant Parade Event at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad. 131 IPS probationers, including 28 women, have completed their 42 weeks of basic course phase-I training at the academy.
2. Finance Commission to meet its economic advisory panel today
The 15th Finance Commission will hold a meeting with its economic advisory panel today to discuss issues of GDP growth, GST compensation and fiscal consolidation. Chairman N K Singh and the members of 15th Finance Commission will hold a day-long meeting with the Economic Advisory Council of the Commission.
3. Union Minister to address workshop on good governance during COVID-19
Union Minister Jitendra Singh will address a workshop on good governance practices in aspirational districts during the coronavirus pandemic today. The workshop has been jointly conceptualised by the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) and Niti Aayog with the objective of knowledge dissemination of district-level good governance practices in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
