President Ram Nath Kovind will virtually unveil the portrait of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his second death anniversary at Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Azad Bhawan in New Delhi today.

2. Jammu and Kashmir: 4G restriction to be lifted from today on trial basis

4G mobile internet ban will be lifted in one district each in Jammu and Kashmir divisions from today. The Centre informed the Supreme Court that it will lift restrictions on 4G mobile internet services in selected areas of Jammu and Kashmir on a trial basis.

3. Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra to start from today

Pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine near Katra will start from today. The shrine board has allowed the Yatra with 2,000 pilgrims during the first week.

Jammu and Kashmir government will open all "religious places" and places of worship shut since March following the outbreak of Covid-19, in the Union Territory from today.
