If needed, will include Chirag Paswan in our team: Tejashwi Yadav

Talking to ETV Bharat after addressing a rally in Jamui, Tejashwi Yadav said that if needed he is ready to take LJP leader Chirag Paswan in his team.

Jamui: Leader of the opposition in Bihar, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, on Saturday said that Mahagathbandhan is going to win in Bihar Assembly polls as people of the state has shown all the support.

While talking to ETV Bharat after addressing a rally in Jamui, Tejashwi said, " we are going to form a government in the state with the full support of the people."

When asked about the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Chirag Paswan, Tejashwi said that if needed he is ready to take Chirag Paswan in his team.

While addressing the rally Tejashwi also referred to the LJP as a 'B- team'. Without taking the name of the LJP or its president Chirag Paswan, Tejashwi asked the voters at his rallies in Mokama, Sheikhpura, Jamui and Nawada to be cautious of the “B-team” of the BJP.

“You all should be cautious of the B team of the BJP. They are vote katwas (vote splitters),” Tejashwi said, indirectly referring to the LJP.

The first phase Bihar polls will be held on October 28, Second on November 3 and the third on November 7, while the counting of votes and results declaration will be held on November 10.

Election authorities have also informed that the Model Code of Conduct has been in effect from Friday with the announcement of election dates.
