Patna: Riding on a massive saffron surge sweeping through most parts of India, the BJP-led NDA returned to the power with a landslide victory.
In an unprecedented move, BJP alone has bagged more than 300 setas.
The NDA won a thumping victory in Bihar getting 39 of the 40 Lok Sabha seats. While the RJD, the main opposition party in Bihar, drew a blank, the Congress managed to get a lone seat.
Talking to ETV Bharat, RLSP chief and former Union minister, Upendra Kushwaha said that Mahagathbandhan was outplayed in the country.
He also said that results of Bihar's Karakat and Ujiarpur constituency, from where I was contesting, also went against Mahagathbandhan.
"It's time for introspection for Mahagathbandhan/UPA instead of making accusations against anyone. Even BJP did not expect of such thumping victory," said Kushwaha.
He further said that many of the candidates in Bihar were protested against still they managed a whopping victory.
"I accept people's verdict with all grace and its time for the Mahagathbandhan to introspect," Kushwaha concluded.
