Man arrested for sexually harassing stepdaughter

Hyderabad: A software engineer has been arrested in Hyderabad on a complaint that he harassed his teenage stepdaughter, police said.

Jayaraman was picked up by police in Neredmet after his second wife reported his sexual misconduct to the police. Reports say the woman married him due to financial difficulties.

The woman's 17-year-old daughter was sent to a relative's house to stop the harassment before police intervention was sought.
