Tamil Nadu: While all those who have emerged victorious from the Tamil Nadu rural local body elections must have been elated, M Dhanasekaran, a government employee from the southern state, has 'two' many reasons to be happy.
Dhanasekaran, who has been married twice, is celebrating the election results as both his "wives" have won the seats they contested from.
While Selvi, the "first wife", retained the president's post in Vazhoor Agaram Panchayat, Kanchana, the "second wife", won the president's post in Koilkuppam Panchayat from where she hails.
Both the women contested as Independent candidates.
The Tamil Nadu local body election results were declared on Thursday.
The polls were held in two phases on December 27 and December 30.
