Paonta Sahib (Himachal Pradesh): The whole nation was under lockdown, but this artist from Himachal Pradesh was busy with his colours and brushes, as there’s no lockdown on ideas, imagination and craft.
While he stayed home, he created vivid oil paintings in relevance to the ongoing pandemic.
Renowned painter Ved Prakash of Sirmaur district created paintings that were eye-capturing leaving the spectator with a message.
His picturesque canvases show how the lockdown ended up creating a positive impact.
"Humans should not try to tamper with mother nature," that's what Prakash replied when asked about his paintings' theme.
Ved Prakash built a studio inside his house and kept himself busy.
One of his paintings showcases how humans have exploited nature.
Appreciating the efforts of healthcare personnel and police force, Prakash said that his creation is nothing but a small way of creating awareness among the masses.
