Hathras: CBSE topper Gaurav Gaud is elated with joy as he has been invited to watch the Republic Day parade 2021 from Prime Minister's box. Gaud, who scored 499 out of 500 marks in his high school exams in 2020, is among the other meritorious students who have been invited to view the parade alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this Republic Day.
Gaud was given a grand welcome by Joint Magistrate Prem Prakash Meena and Chairman of Municipal Corporation Ashish Sharma before leaving for the national capital. Gaurav's parents are beaming with pride and said that it is a result of his hard work and determination.
Gaud told ETV Bharat, "I have been invited to watch the Republic Day parade from PM's box. I scored 499 marks out of 500 and because of this achievement, I have been invited to this prestigious parade. I aspire to become an IAS officer."
He and many other meritorious students have been invited to witness the R-Day parade this year.
Ashish Sharma said, "It is a matter of great pride that Gaurav has been invited for R-Day parade. He is among the toppers of the state and the administration will provide all aid to such students."
